SR. VINHO RESTAURANT

CASA DE CHÁ BOA NOVA – LEÇA DA PALMEIRA (MATOSINHOS)
Regardless of the attractive dining that are very recognized, the visit to this restaurant is worth because of its architecture and landscape. The project is from the architect Alvaro Siza Vieira and is classified as a National Monument since 2006. Born among the rocks, this tea house / restaurant overlooking the sea with large glass windows, is considered as a paradigm of inclusion and integration of architecture on the site.

TIA ALICE
Apart from the religious, there are other reasons to go on pilgrimage to Fatima. A sanctuary for regional food with a menu devoted to quality Portuguese specialties, with the careful touch of homemade cooking. The atmosphere is rustic but the decor is modern and this contrast is a nice feature. The decor adds some notes of design ( as with the chandeliers of white cloth hanging from the ceiling in contrast to the stone walls), offering charisma to the ambience. It is difficult to forget the name of this house, as it was borrowed from the cook: Tia Alice.

O FIALHO – ÉVORA
The restaurant Fialho began as a chop-house, founded by Manuel Fialho in 1948, with the help of their children Amor, Gabriel and Manuel. The current owner, Gabriel, who is the kitchen manager, and Amor, responsible for public relations, continue the work of his father.
Fialho began to serve snacks and some traditional food dishes from Alentejo, with a simple but careful preparation and a reasonable wine list.
The "Fialho" committed itself to extend and improve the quality of supply, through the collection of regional traditional dishes, some virtually disappeared as the "Favada Real de Caça”, served by King D. Carlos of Portugal to his guests after the hunt, the "Sopa de Beldroegas", "Migas Gata", "Poejada de Bacalhau” and others delicacies from Alentejo.
