Business between WATA - SAGA Travel (Portugal) and BTA Travel Basel Switzerland)

This is just a short information about a wonderful and excellent experience I have made with WATA-SAGA TRAVEL. Lisbon/Portugal.

I had a group of 160 persons for a 2-days visit of PORTO and Guimareis, for the members of BASEL TOURISM on November 5th/6th, 2008. This group consisted of several officials from the government of the City of Basel: Its President, the President of the “great chamber” as well as high representatives of economy, trade and industry.

The itinerary was chosen together with WATA SAGA-Travel, especially  Mrs. Virginia Grimault, head of incoming WATA-SAGA and her representative in Porto, Mrs. Sameiro.   It was extremely tight and all visits, such as a cruise on small  riverboats as well as  a historic tramways-ride, but also the visit of a Portwine -cellar, the Gala-dinner with representatives of Portuguese Government and other officials in a wonderful old cloister, has been extremely well organized and planned by WATA –SAGA-Travel.

The proposed and finally chosen Hotel TIARA-PARK ATLANTIC, Porto, was
one of the best, if not the best ever had hotel in my life ! The service of the  whole staff: reception, concierge, Porters, breakfast-restaurant, everybody was not only up to expectations but indeed extremely friendly and helpful !

The off-load of approx. 200 pieces of luggage out of 4 coaches and delivery  into the rooms, as well as reception of nearly 200 bags in the lobby, stored until the 4 coaches arrived and loaded into the coaches – always so quick and without a single instruction – just brilliant !

WATA-SAGA  - Mrs. Virginie Grimault and Mrs. Sameiro, have
done a wonderful and more than brilliant job ! There was absolutely nothing to criticize – the whole 2 days have been a wonderful experience for the  whole group and finally 160 persons have returned to Basel not only happy –  but more than satisfied by the places visited – the warm welcome of the Portuguese people and counterparts  and the efficiency of WATA-SAGA  TRAVEL !

I can only congratulate the WATA-Organization  for such excellent members ! 
My company will continue to use WATA-members all over the world – we have  never been disappointed since many years !

Business between WATA-Saad Tours (Lebanon) and WATA- Imperial Connections Beck (Austria)

Saad said :    For your information, our Outbound department had a group (around 60 pax) in Vienna last week (July 6-13, 08) which was handled by WATA-Imperial Connection. The program included business meetings with dinners and sightseeing. Imperial Connection had appointed Johanna Schmikal to handle the group from the start and she did a great job.
